How to convert xml to json in ionic 3/4

i have a xml file with how can i convert it to json file in ionic 3 or /4 ,
i used this way but not working with me link : https://www.ionicrun.com/transform-xml-to-json-in-ionic-2-with-angular-4-3/.

i got this error when i trying to use X2JS()




Cannot find name 'X2JS'. Did you mean 'x2js'




why this error ? and how can i convert it ?
