Solr: filter out results based on a sub-query

0

Let's say I have a collection of documents that look like this:

{
"tag": "single-value",
"flag": true
}

There can be two documents that have the same tag but a different flag

Given a user query for the tag value I want to retrieve only the tags for which there is only one document (i.e. not two documents with two different flag values).
Basically I want to filter out the ones that are duplicated

What I'm trying to achieve is equivalent to the following SQL query:

SELECT * FROM collection a WHERE a.tag LIKE '%some-value%' AND
(SELECT COUNT(*) FROM collection b WHERE b.tag = a.tag) = 1;

I know that grouping could easily do this but my real-life scenario is a bit more complex than this and grouping doesn't solve it.

Thanks!
