Runtime died and restarted sporadically?

0

I am training a keras model for object detection, and I have a complicated metrics to evaluate. Ever since I added this metric, my runtime would sporadically died and restarted. I am wondering if this is a resource consumption issue and if it's GPU or CPU memory. I am not familiar with memory management aspect of Keras/Tensorflow and I may be writing something pretty bad from memory perspective. And since it ran many epochs, I tend to think it may be a leak...

Does colab automatically kill a session if its resource consumption goes out of bound? If I have more evidence this is the case, I will try to workaround this, or put more time in improving the metrics computation and its memory management aspect.

Thanks for your help.
