In my current class, I'm learning how to commit changes from Eclipse to Git. And for now I'm using local repository. Below are the steps I need to follow. At step d, I'm getting the error in the screenshot: Please click here for screenshot

  1. Check in code locally.
    a. Right-click on the project again. Select Team, then Commit, which will bring up a new
    view, Git Staging.
    b. Select any/all files in the Unstaged Changes area and drag them to Staged Changes area.
    c. Type something in the Commit Message textbox, then click the Commit and Push
    button.
    d. For this local repository example, select the Local File button to set the location. Click
Next, accept defaults, and click Next again, then Finish and OK.
    e. You have now checked in your work to your local repository using EGit
