VSTS Agent v 2.131.0 skipping variable overwrite

0

The new agent v 2.131.0 is skipping variable overwrite. I have tested on the latest released agent as well (2.140.0) and that is also skipping the variable overwrite as shown in the logs below. Please let me know if this is an intentional change for all the latest agents. If yes, is there a command that I can use to get back the variable overwrite task while installing the new agent? Please let me know.

Agent v2.121.1- The Ideal thing to do, as we have various tests depending on this location for "temp" folder.
