Can't build fluidsynth on win 10

0

Im trying to install fluidsynth on win 10. I've never had to compile a program before so I don't have the experience to troubleshoot this.

I followed the instructions for the different options.

MSYS - Tried this a few times. When I do the 2nd round of updates it seems to finish and then close the console. When I try to open the console again I get an error saying Windows cannot find C:msys64usrbinbash. The console won't open.

cygwin - I installed at and included the necessary libraries. When I try to run the cmake command I get the error CMake Error: Could not create named generator MSYS Makefiles

Can someone help me out with getting fluidsynth installed on Windows 10? I'm trying to use it in a python program to synthesize wav files from midi files.
