Google Optimizer which Variant is running?
I'm doing A/B testing with Google Optimizer.
I have 3 variations and I would like to get which variation loaded now.
I have PHP code based on Google Documentation:

// Sets the ID of the experiment on variations of this web page.
$experimentId = 'dGUd7VYaYhjLNDkzC6H64Q';
// Randomly picks a variation for the user.
$variationId = rand (0, 2);
echo "You're running Variant #".$variationId;

ga('set', 'exp', '$experimentId.$variationId');
HTML;
?>
However, that doesn't work. $variationId is not true. Example it can show 2 But in fact, It's Variant 1 now.
How can I get true $variationId?
