AWS java sdk creates broken user

0

Using AWS JAVA SDK I create user.
Then I delete it using console.
Then I create it again.
In result I get user with not existing policy equal to user name:

Broken user

user is created with basic code:

    CreateUserRequest request = new CreateUserRequest()
.withUserName(userName);

CreateUserResult createUserResult = iam.createUser(request);

Is it a bug, or expected behaviour, and I just miss something.

  • I'm not following your question 100% but IAM, like many AWS services, is a very large-scale, distributed system and changes propagate around that system in non-zero time. You may need to wait a short while and refresh things to be in sync.
