Retrieving Tag Metadata using Shell
I would like your assistance on how to retrieve all Tag Metadata from a folder and its subfolders using shell.
The code will save in a csv or txt file all the Tag Metadata found.
With the code below is possible retrieve for the mentioned folder only. I want to extend to its subfolders. Can someone help me out?
Dim vrFile As Variant
Dim objShell: Set objShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application")
Dim objDirectory: Set objDirectory = objShell.Namespace("C:MY FOLDER")
For Each vrFile In objDirectory.Items
If Len(Trim(objDirectory.GetDetailsOf(vrFile, 18))) > 0 Then
'Writes the Tag of the file using objDirectory.GetDetailsOf(vrFile, 18)
Else
End If
Next

Your question doesn't make sense: the code looks like Visual Basic in a Windows environment but you've tagged it as a Unix shell issue. You should edit the question to clarify what you mean. See How to Ask.
