WP Customizer default demo

0

Is it possible to programmatically set a default theme demo to activate in Customizer upon activation of a WordPress theme?

By default, Customizer calls on theme mods, but I have created themes in a separate file which are activated via Customizer > Theme Demos.

It would be nice to automatically default to one of the themes rather than the default settings in theme mods.

I'm also using Kirki.

Thanks.

  • Look through the theme functions and and find out where it sets a chosen demo. Then write your own function that mimics that choice just, do it automatically.
