Spark - load csv in gz archive with uppercase extension

0

I use pyspark library to load huge csv files. The csv files are wrap into gz archive. The problem is that name of file is in uppercase (included gz extension). Then the name of file looks like this:

MY_FILE_TO_PROCESS.GZ

For loading of file I use the following command

self.spark_session = SparkSession.builder.appName("My-Spark-Session").getOrCreate()
self.spark_session.read.load("/path/to/MY_FILE_TO_PROCESS.GZ", format='csv', sep=","')

In this case it does not work. The file is not ungzip correctly. When I rename file like this (I use lowercase extension) everything works fine:

MY_FILE_TO_PROCESS.gz

Is there any way how to say to spark to that file is gz archive? I can not rename the file.

Thanks for advice
