pdf generation from ASP.net MVC [closed]

We need to create pdf-files from c# .net (core) code at the back-end of a asp.net mvc (core) application. I found a plethora of .net components that can do the job and of course they all claim to be the best one :-)



We are looking for solution that does NOT require a pdf-server-generation installation.



Anyone who like to share his experience on this ?

  • I have used PdfSharp and iTextSharp. They don't require to install an executable at server if that's what you mean. However Pdf generation happen at server as a copy of the library is added to the bin folder of the web app.
