pdf generation from ASP.net MVC [closed]

We need to create pdf-files from c# .net (core) code at the back-end of a asp.net mvc (core) application. I found a plethora of .net components that can do the job and of course they all claim to be the best one :-)

We are looking for solution that does NOT require a pdf-server-generation installation.

Anyone who like to share his experience on this ?

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "Questions asking us to recommend or find a book, tool, software library, tutorial or other off-site resource are off-topic for Stack Overflow as they tend to attract opinionated answers and spam. Instead, describe the problem and what has been done so far to solve it." – Kirk Larkin, Stephen Muecke, Shiladitya, Matthew L Daniel

If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

  • I have used PdfSharp and iTextSharp. They don't require to install an executable at server if that's what you mean. However Pdf generation happen at server as a copy of the library is added to the bin folder of the web app.
