object with an array of arrays with client side cache

0

I have a schema that for ease of describing is as such

type level0 {
ID id
String name
[level1] level1s
}
type level1 {
ID id
String name
[level2] level2s
}
type level2 {
ID id
String name
}

type Query {
getLevel0(ID: id)
}

when I initially get my data I query build my query as such

query GetLevel0($id: ID) {
getLevel0(id: $id) {
id
name
level1s {
id
name
level2s {
id
name
}
}
}
}

So at this point I now get a fully nested object hierarchy of my data so that I can eager load everything I need to quickly manage the data.

So now my question is when I go to manage my level2s collection for the top down binding this object hierarchy just flows without the need to create additional queries for direct access to the other information. I am also using the client InMemoryCache that I want to keep updated without additional network calls being made to return the full data over again.

Is there a way that I can build a schema to support filtering on a sub collection?

like for example

query GetLevel0($id: ID, $level1id: ID) {
getLevel0(id: $id) {
id
name
level1s(id: $level1id) {
id
name
level2s {
id
name
}
}
}
}

Looking to know if that would be a way to possible be able to preform the filter from the cache results when I do a cache.readQuery to add new or delete entries from the sub collections.

Any additional knowledge on this would be great.

Thanks!
