It report “ ERROR: Unknown command '{' ” when I test My Logstash installation
According to this link :
https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/logstash/6.x/first-event.html
After I install Elastic Search , then I install logstash , the version of logstash and Elastic Search is 6.4.3, then I test Logstash installation use this :
F:ELK的安装目录logstash-6.4.3logstash-6.4.3bin>logstash -e 'input { stdin { } } output { stdout {} }'
Then it report :
ERROR: Unknown command '{'
See: 'bin/logstash --help'
[ERROR] 2018-11-12 16:37:59.204 [main] Logstash - java.lang.IllegalStateException: Logstash stopped processing because of an error: (SystemExit) exit
What is the cause of this problem, how to solve this problem ?

Did you start your elasticsearch before that ? can you share the log file ?

If you're on a Windows system, you have to use thelogstash.batto launch it.
