VideoCapture doesn't work in Conda virtual environment with OpenCv 2.4.11
I'm trying to read a video frame by frame using PyCharm. I'm using as Python interpreter a virtual environment created with Conda, because it's the only way I have to use OpenCV 2.4.11.
How can I solve this problem?
I checked for a solution, such as installing ffmpeg
in the virtual environment, but it didn't work.
I found this SO solution, but I can't apply it in my virtual environment.
I use the command
vid = cv2.VideoCapture('video1.avi')
and then I check if it has worked typing
vid.isOpened()
and I get "False" every time. The video name is correct, and if I change the video format, it still doesn't work.
Do you have any idea?
python opencv virtualenv conda video-capture
