How can I write dialogs/wizards for my Visual Studio Code extension?

0

I'd like to create designers for certain configuration files (tsconfig.json, package.json etc.).

These are supposed to show typical Windows wizards (i.e. forms with bottom << Previous, Next >> and Finish buttons) and are supposed to be displayed like the Markdown Preview window as a side editor, next to the JSON text editor.

What docs in the VS Code extensions documentation do I specifically need to study for ...

  1. starting my extension when a certain file name is clicked in the VS Code side bar,

  2. providing a context menu for certain file names in the VS Code side bar for opening my window, along with the text editor, and give focus to my editor,

  3. add a Designer editor icon (same as the Markdown Preview editor icon) to certain JSON files,

  4. show form based dialogs in a designer editor?
