Best way to create NDVI Mosaics from LandSat 5 Data?
I have a site I need to create a time series of NDVIs for, and each year has four files needed to combine into a single NDVI: infrared N half. RBG N half, infrared S half, RBG S half. So the north and south parts of the site each have an rbg and ir file.
What is the best way to create a single NDVI out of these that will create the smallest possible headache for me? Should I mosaic them first, composite them separately, mosaic separate NDVIs after creating them from composites?
I have a fair number of them to do, so I'd love to know the least-worst way to do this, and if possible problems can arise from doing it in the wrong order.
Thanks!
(btw I'm working in ArcMap 10.6.1)
