Python3 - converting byte array from image

-1

I try to convert any img to byte array.
I have some .jpg (30x30 px) and I'd like to convert it to array.

import pylab
from PIL import Image

im = Image.open('test.jpg')#.convert('L')
pylab.imshow(im, origin='lower')
pylab.show()

Do u know any solution to do this?
