Limit amount of text to browser window height in full screen (screen height)?

0

I'm running a rpi based "info screen" that runs headless and is maintained via browser (and Quill). The problem is that, if/when people who don't understand anything regarding pixels/screen height/resolutions etc. type in text with Quill (to be displayed with a full screen browser), they usually end up writing way more than actually fits on the (not scrollable) screen, usually running in 1080p.

I guess PowerPoint is one reason for this behaviour as it automagically resizes the text according to the container while typing, but the point is, how could this be "fixed" with Quill?

Is there a way to limit the amount of text based on some font height info, for example by displaying a dotted line where the screen height would be exceeded?

Thanks!
