How to serialize value class as JSON array?

0

I have a value class that reproduces System.Drawing.PointF. Is there any way to tweak the definition of the value class so that Entity Framework Core project can serialize/deserialize objects to/from 2D JSON arrays?

To provide an example, consider the following value class:

public class Point {
public int Id {get; set;}
public float X {get; set;} = 0;
public float Y {get; set;} = 0;
}

By default, Entity Framework core serializes instances of Point as follows:

{
"Id": 0,
"X": 0.0,
"Y": 0.0
}

What I'm looking for is a way to deserialize instances of Point to:

[0.0, 0.0]

  • You could use a value converter
