Peer to Peer Python Framework Library

I have to do a peer to peer game in Python. I was looking for a library that can implement it. The game must have a server wherein clients can connect to it. When the server shuts down, the client must be still up and not affected because it is peer to peer. Is there a Python Framework existing implementing peer to peer so that my development can be faster?
