trigger digest cycle in angular webapp via powershell

0

I am stuck in something that should be so simple but that keeps giving me headaches.

I have an angular webapplication and i would need to automate some steps via a powershell script. The part I get stuck is on completing the loginform.

I succeed in going to the webpage, accessing the DOM and filling in username and password but because I do this via the DOM, the onchange event is not triggered and neither is the angular digest cycle. Hence, my loginform remains invalid a nd the loginbutton is 'not clickable'. any idea on how I can either force the digest cycle from my PS script or how to force the onchange event from the webpage.

This is the current script

<#SessionVariables#>
$url = "https://url"
$user = "user"
$pass = "pass"

<#ObjectDeclarations#>
$wshell = New-Object -ComObject wscript.shell

<#Launch Browser#>
$browser = new-object -ComObject "InternetExplorer.Application"
$browser.navigate2($url)
$browser.Visible = $true
while($ie.busy) { start-sleep 1 }
$doc = $browser.document
$frm = $doc.forms["loginForm"]

<#Login to Session#>

$loginArray = @(
("username",$user),
("password",$pass)
)

for($i=0;$i -lt $loginArray.Length; $i++)
{
$el = $doc.getElementById($loginArray[$i][0]);
$el.focus();
start-sleep -Seconds 3;
$el.value=$loginArray[$i][1];

}

I have tried the following but without any luck

$el.oncellchange();

Based on another article I found somewhere I also tried with dispatchevent but no luck neither:

  $event = $doc.createEvent('Event');
$event.initEvent('input',$true,$true);
$el.dispatchEvent($event);

Anyone got any idea on how I can do this?

thanks!
